Luxury tax should depend on an object price, head of the Committee on Finance of Ukraine Vitaly Khomutynnik told during a conference organized by the Taxpayers Association of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the MP, "luxury tax should be charged not for the apartment space but for its price. The same applies to cars".
In general, he noted that one of the important tasks of the new Parliament will be further improvements in the tax laws.
