The Vitali Klitschko's UDAR Party in the next Parliament will initiate the holding of local election in Kyiv in May of 2013, leader of the UDAR Party Vitali Klitschko said at sidelines of the city council, ForUm correspondent reports.
"There is no local government in Kyiv, and it does no affect the processes that take place in the capital. We have prepared the relevant bills, and we will initiate that the mayor election to be held in May of the next year," he said.
According to Klitschko, the Kyiv mayor election should be held in two rounds.
