The parties also discussed issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the context of preparations for the Association Agreement signing, the future introduction of a visa-free regime with the EU, providing macro and sectoral EU assistance.
They exchanged views on the political situation in Ukraine, in particular in the context of preparations for the parliamentary elections in October 2012. Khoroshkovsky assured that the leaders of Ukraine are set up to do everything necessary to ensure the electoral process flow in accordance with democratic norms and standards.
