Russia is ready to grant a loan to Ukraine at USD 5 billion only under one condition – if USD 3 billion of this loan to be spent for purchase of the Russian gas, ForUm informs, referring to the Dzerkalo Tyzhdnya.
According to DT, such conditions were proposed to Yulia Tymoshenko during her working visit to Moscow last week. The rest 2 billion Ukraine can spend on its consideration.
As a reminder, Kyiv asked Moscow a loan at amount of USD 5 billion for recovering of budget deficit because of financial crisis consequence.
After negotiations in scope of Yulia Tymoshenko’s visit, Vladimir Putin informed that Ukraine and Russia had not agreed on that loan yet.
