International Monetary Fund made worse prognostication of the GDP for Ukraine from rise of 2.5% to drop of 5% in 2009, according to the Head of Service of Social and Economic Development of the Secretariat of the President Roman Zhukovskyi.

"IMF renewed its prognostications and made update, two days ago we knew about it (-5%)," he told.

Zhukovskyi noted that prognostication might be revised on the base of the Ministry of Economy.

In October the IMF made worse prognostication of inflation in December for 2009 from 13.4 to 14.7%, GDP - from 4.2% to 2.5%.
