President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko declared he intends to keep standing for his principles, and his rating is not important. The head of the state said at the press conference in Cherkassy region.

“I don’t care about what I’ll be in 2010,” the President said and added that he would stand for his principles regardless whether he has high rating or not.

Yushchenko expressed assurance that Ukraine would not lose its democratic winnings, as whatever happens in the parliament there is a possibility to talk about it and the people can assess these events.

At the same time the President does not eliminate that early elections may still happen. According to Yushchenko, during the reelections it is necessary to declare openly and frankly who unites with whom and with what purposes.
