President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko came to the Trade Union Building in Kyiv on Sunday morning to cast his ballot for Ukraine’s new parliament, President’s press office reports.

Yushchenko expressed confidence today’s elections would make relations between political opponents more tolerant. “Society is starting to breathe in a more tolerant way. Political relations are coming onto a more tolerant track and these are the main results of the political state in which Ukraine is approaching this election,” he told reporters at his polling station.

The President said Ukrainians would choose today between “pseudo-stability” and changes: “I am convinced the nation is voting for changes.”
