The unemployment rate in Ukraine has decreased by 7.5%, social policy minister Natalia Korolevska told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We have fully implemented the employment law, and thus we have managed to keep the situation in the labor market. On the background of unemployment growth in the world we have a difficult situation, but, according to the International Labor Organization, the unemployment rate in Ukraine has decreased by 7.5%," she stressed.

According to the minister, since March of 2013 a significant decrease in the level of arrears in payment of wages has been observed in Ukraine.

According to the minister, several documents regulating the effective payment of outstanding wages have been prepared for consideration in Parliament.
