Ukrainian farmers have collected more than 85% of the annual grain harvest,  first deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov declared, opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.

"This year, Ukraine can set a record in grain harvest. As of today, 85% of the yield have been harvested that amounts to almost 27 million tons of grain," he said.

Arbuzov noted that the grain yield is more by 4.8 tons per hectare this year and amounts to 29.5 quintals per hectare.

He added that Cherkasy, Kyiv, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions have the highest yield.
