The average salary in Ukraine in May compared to April 2013 increased by 20 UAH (by 0.6%) - up to 3253 UAH, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
According to the report, this figure is by 7.9% more than in May of 2012.
The average wages in the industry sector in May of this year exceeded the national average figure and amounted to 3.713 UAH, which is by 31 UAH less than in April.
The highest level of wages was recorded, as in the previous month, in the air transport sector – 10.574 UAH (against 10.936 UAH in April), the lowest salary - in the postal and courier activities – 1.948 UAH (against 1.914 UAH in April).
