The children from Ukraine, who were not allowed to cross the Bulgarian frontier, already received the necessary visas to return home, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine spokesman Oleksandr Dikusarov informed.
"On Monday, after the intervention of Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, the children’s folk band was granted free visas. The consul went at the place and accompanied the children as they moved through Bulgaria to the border with Romania. Today at 5:30 a.m. they have crossed the Bulgarian-Romanian border and, accompanied by the Ukrainian consul, move to the border with Ukraine," Dikusarov said.
He noted that in a few hours Ukrainian children are to cross the border of Ukraine and the Ministry has already warned the border guards that children should be given maximum assistance.
