Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko staying in the Ukrzaliznytsya central clinical hospital in Kharkiv refused examination by the Ukrainian doctors who are the members of the International Medical Commission, the chairman of the International Medical Commission, the deputy healthcare minister of Ukraine Rayisa Moiseenko told a briefing.

"During the visit, the patient's examination was conducted by the German doctors. The patient abstained from the examination by the Ukrainian doctors," Moiseenko said.

However, she noted that the Ukrainian and German doctors discussed on the scheme of Tymoshenko’s medication, as well as other matters on the rehabilitation of the ex-premier.

From Moiseenko’s point of view, the rehabilitation term of Tymoshenko in Kharkiv hospital continues long enough. "Today, the term does not meet those medical standards and technologies that are commonly used, but the situation itself is rather unusual," Moiseenko underlined.
