Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov declares a necessity to develop innovation technologies to provide competitiveness of Ukrainian economy on Western and Eastern markets.
"I've charged the Economy ministry and National academy of science with developing and submitting an innovation strategy of Ukraine for 10 years. This strategy must be based on creation of regional innovative and industrial clusters in accordance with specialization and potential of this or that region of Ukraine," Azarov told a meeting of the Cabinet Wednesday, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Ukraine is entering new economic realities, and we should take advantage of this opportunity. Only those who offer cheap and unique product of high quality can benefit from the free trade. We must be ready to the competition, and to win it we must develop innovation technologies," the Premier underlined.
