Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov stands for state support of vocational educations due to shortage of regular labor force. Speaking at a session of the Cabinet Azarov said that transformation of the Ukrainian society during the years of independence resulted into serious distortion, ForUm's correspondent reported.

"We have more lawyers and marketing experts than turners and welders. Accountants and managers get higher salary than miners and metallurgical engineers," he said.

Azarov pointed out that Ukrainian education institutions graduated 656 thousand of specialists among which are economists, managers and lawyers, while graduates in the spheres of biotechnology, pharmacology or electronics numbers only hundreds.

According to the PM the current situation impedes the development of Ukraine's economy and provokes unemployment.
