The Ministry of Education and Science in 2011
is planning to introduce an electronic system for receiving admission
documents in higher educational establishments, Education Minister
Dmytro Tabachnyk said during a selector conference, NRCU reported.
"We have received the task to
think about the introduction of an electronic system for the submission
of documents by the entrants in 2011," he said. In addition, the
Ministry considers changing the entry campaign term.
According to
Tabachnyk, the draft rules for admission to universities in 2011 will be
posted on the Ministry's website in a few days after completion of the
current entry campaign. This year, due to reduction of filings,
applicants had to stand in long queues to get to reception
commissions.
Due to the numerous appeals of the applicants and their parents, the entry campaign was extended by five days, until August 5.
