CEC has organization and methodological bases for elary parliamentary elections on September 30. Deputy Head of the President’s Secretariat, representative of the President of Ukraine in the Constitutional Court and in the Central Election Commission Maryna Stavniychuk told journalists yesterday, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
“There is a legislation base. We can speak about changes to the law on elections, but legal mechanism for elections is already formed and CEC has grounds to start early parliamentary elections,” she said.
According to her, CEC has methodological base to conduct elections, that as worked out by previous members of CEC.
As a reminder, The CEC member Olexander Chupakhin considered that the CEC cant hold early parliamentary elections in Ukraine because there is no President’s decree on VRU dissolution.
