Ukrainian Avian Transport Company (UATC), a National Company attached to the Defence Ministry of Ukraine, has at its disposal 18 aircraft for NATO to execute its strategic airlift. UATC General Director Vitaly Popov has revealed commenting on the VR decision to pass the Act of Ukraine on Ratification of the Memorandum on Mutual Understanding between the Cabinet and NATO regarding the Usage of Ukraine’s Strategic Transport Aviation in NATO Missions and Operations.”
“UATC personnel have great experience in that kind of the shipping. The VR decision will benefit strengthening of Ukraine’s positions within the international market of air shipping and provide for extra income for the State Budget,” said Vitaly Popov.
