Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is asked to pass the drafts concerning WTO

The Secretariat of the President appealed to the parliament to support the package of drafts concerning Ukraine’s entry to WTO, the deputy state secretary, Markiyan Liubkivsky, reported.

According to his words, it became critically important for Ukraine to enter WTO this year. "The Secretariat of the President appeals to the deputies of Verkhovna Rada not to discuss the particular branch items but to support the package in general and in the shortest time. The package is extremely important for the completion of the negotiations with the states-members of WTO," stated Liubkivsky.

He reminded that on June 18, the president had pointed out the entry into WTO to be the main target of Ukraine. That is why Ukraine makes the parliament responsible to this step.

Liubkivsky states that the president mentioned many times that the deputies interfered their private interests with the national interests of Ukraine. The vote will be conducted on Tuesday.
