The proclaimed and consistently conducted non-alignment policy of Ukraine in no way does imply our non-involvement in the process of strengthening regional, European, and global security, President Viktor Yanukovych said at today’s meeting of the Committee on Reforming the Armed Forces and Military Industrial Complex of Ukraine, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
"Ukraine will continue actively developing close partnerships with the states of the European Union, Russia, USA, China, other countries it neighbors, CIS countries, international organizations – the UN, OSCE and NATO," he said.
Our country will continue making its contribution into international crisis management efforts, peacekeeping, counter-terrorism, anti-piracy, arms control operations, etc., added the President.
