Public council under the State committee on TV and radio broadcast of Ukraine recommends to reject the draft bill "On protection of public morals", which has been submitted to the parliament. All members of the council have unanimously voted in favour, ForUm's correspondent reports.

According to a representative of the mass information institute Roman Golovenko, the given draft bill does not change the system of protection of minors from malicious content, but in fact doubles already existing law on protection of public morals.

Golovatenko has recommended to reject the draft bill, and to work out a new one, which would be able to protect minors from malicious content.

In addition, the public council recommends supporting the program on popularization of book publishing and reading.
