President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko calls the government to pass from slogans and politicization to accurate professional steps in order to overcome inflation. Press secretary of the President, Iryna Vannikova stated a briefing.
According to her, the President emphasized that forecasts of reduction of inflation must not suspend the work. “This is a serious reduction, but the rates of this year is considerably higher, than the rates for the same period of previous years, when the inflation rate was reaching zero,” Vannikova cited the President’s words.
The President considers that the government must undertake accurate effective steps in order the reduction of prices to be seen not only by the statistics, but by ordinary people as well.
