The US Agency for International Development will invest one million USD to enhance Ukraine's energy efficacy and strengthening its energy independence. This money is provided by the USAID program, USAID Mission Director in Ukraine Earl Gast said in Odesa, Cabinet's press office reported.
Within the framework of the program the USAID will render technical aid and offer relevant highly remunerative financial resolutions to this end.
The USAID will also promote establishing partnership relations among foreign and Ukrainian service companies, which are engaged in rendering services in energy saving to enhance their capability in developing energy saving projects.
The program executors were named the American International Resource Group and the subcontractor company Alliance to Save Energy.
