Israel is ready to invest in development of Ukrainian regions, as reported by the Israel Ambassador to Ukraine Naomi Ben-Ami during the meeting with the head of Vinnitsa regional administration Alexander Dombrovsky.
Israel Ambassador also mentioned about possibility of investment in building of "Vinnitsa-Kiev" high-way, restoration of Vinnitsa civil airport (the only one in Ukraine, which is able to receive heavy aircrafts), and also in rural economy of the region.
Ben-Ami reported that she would conduct negotiations with potential Israel investors.
"After 'orange revolution' Israel business interest towards Ukraine increased unambiguously. It is a pity that business meetings "Israel-Ukraine" take place only in Kiev, in government, ministries. Last time I underline that it is needed to work with regions too," said she.
During the half of the year, foreign capital amount increased 16 times in comparison with the same period of the last year. Now the regional administration works with investment portfolio in the amount of half a milliard dollars.
