Yefremov calls on politicians to preserve Ukraine’s integrity

Politicians should discourage attempts to destroy the integrity of Ukraine, leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov said.

"Let us speak frankly: we have unhomogeneous state. Many would like to use this to their advantage. Situation in the country is, unfortunately, staggered including without the participation of the opposition factions. Sensible politicians should understand this and not allow the situation to shatter," Yefremov is sure.

According to him, decisions made in the regions pose additional threat to the integrity of the state. "The integrity of the state is threatened by actions of people in areas where there are attempts to make illegal acts. You see how the West decides that territory will not obey the central government. In response to this, the south takes certain decisions. This makes an imbalance in the situation in the country," he explained.
