The All-Ukrainian vyshyvankas parade takes place in Kyiv, ForUm correspondent reports.
In particular, the procession started near the Mystetsky Arsenal Art Center and proceeded to the Independence Square.
According to parade organizers, the event has been attended by about 7 thousand people dressed in vyshyvankas (traditional Ukrainian embroidered shirts) from 20 regions of Ukraine, as well as guests from Latvia.
The festive column is led by fabulous cabriolets with the winners of last year's parade. In addition, about 20 “wonder-birds” participate in the parade.
Representatives from each region make mini-presentation of the region, and the winners will receive cash prizes and the trophy. The prize fund of the parade, according to organizers, makes up 20 thousand UAH.
