Investigators study several versions of crash of an Antonov An-24 passenger aircraft, occurred on February 13 in Donetsk airport, prosecutor of Donetsk region Volodymyr Vyshynsky has told a press conference in Donetsk today.
He stressed that it is early to speak about the reason for the crash, as it will be known only at the end of work of the ad hoc committee.
"The plan of investigative and operational activities is already approved. Several versions of the accident have been put forward. We consider the version of activities of the crew, activities of ground services, the technical condition of the aircraft and the version of the technical condition of land-based of instruments, which ensure the safety of flight," the prosecutor said.
In addition, according to him, only three of the five victims of the crash were identified.
The prosecutor informed that all the dead are men.
Vyshynsky said that "according to preliminary data, the plane overshot the runway, turned over and the aircraft's hull broke".
According to him, 30 investigators are involved into investigation of into the crash. Currently, inspection of the scene is ongoing.
In addition, the prosecutor office of Odesa region began checking the Southern Airlines because of its plane crash.
