
The referees were prejudiced when assessing the Ukrainian Olympians, Azarov said at a meeting with Olympic athletes, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I express my personal opinion. I think there was an element of prejudice. So the athletes did not get the awards which they deserve. Of course, the country, all the fans were hurt. I have a simple answer how to overcome that – we need to be stronger," he said.
The Prime Minister also stressed that the authority of the Ukrainian associations in the world is also important when defending results of Olympians.
