Ukraine's Finance Ministry Pinzenyk has drafted a government resolution proposing to tighten control over the movement of diamonds in the country.
According to the Ministry's spokesman, the aim of the resolution is to further implement international standards, particularly the certification scheme of the Kimberley process to combat the trade in conflict diamonds, Tacy Ltd informed.
The resolution calls for substantial tightening of control over the movement of all processed and unprocessed diamonds within Ukraine by introducing mandatory certification.
