President Victor Yushchenko supports the idea to make the first day of “orange revolution” during presidential elections 2004 a state holiday.
“There are some propositions and I support them. We must to honour the feat of those people, who were fighting for freedom,” said Yushchenko.
He promised to organize celebration of those events this autumn.
“We will organize a holiday at the day of Ukrainian revolution for sure. We will gather on Maidan those people, who took part in November events,” said he.
