A car with five passengers, citizens of Ukraine, drove down into the lake in Tver region of Russia, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine informs with reference to the Ukrainian Embassy in the Russian Federation.
According to the report, three citizens of Ukraine drowned, two of them managed to escape. The health status of survivors is satisfactory, there is no threat to their lives.
Bodies of the dead are raised to the surface. The cause and circumstances of the incident are being investigated by police.
The matter is under the control of the Ukrainian Embassy in the Russian Federation and the Department of Consular Service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.
