Signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU remains a key priority of the foreign policy at the summit of Eastern Partnership in Vilnius on November 28-29. And Ukraine counts on support of the Slovak Republic in this issue, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak said during a meeting with chairman of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Pavol Paška , ForUm learned from the Parliament’s press service.

"We are grateful to Bratislava and MPs of Slovakia for their support for our state’s course of the European integration, as well as for the recognition of the progress achieved by Ukraine in implementing recommendations, which are responsible for the signing of the Association Agreement," he said.

The head of Parliament stressed that this year is very important for our country in connection with the implementation of the Action Plan on visa liberalization for the citizens of Ukraine and the transition to the second phase. "We have made significant progress in implementing the first phase of the legislative Action Plan and are making every effort to complete it," he stressed.
