Rospotrebnadzor defines ways for Roshen return

The Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine received an official letter from the Russian Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) on resolution of the situation with the supply of Roshen products to the Russian market.

This was stated by deputy agrarian policy and food minister Ivan Bisiuk before the Government’s meeting.

"We have received an official letter from the Rospotrebnadzor on how we will address this question. It will be addressed in three ways. First, we have provided information about each processing plant, which produces these products today. We have provided the legislative framework regulating this issue. And now we wait for the Rospotrebnadzor to send its inspectors to verify these enterprises," the deputy minister said.

However, he did not dare predict when the question of the products supply to the Russian Federation Roshen is settled.

"I hope that this will happen in the near future," Bisiuk concluded.
