Head of the Party of Regions faction in Parliament Oleksandr Yefremov has thanked his colleagues from the opposition factions for adequate behavior during the speech of Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych in the Verkhovna Rada, he told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to Yefremov, the opposition kept its promise to behave appropriately in the session hall. In addition, the President was given to speak, because the sitting was attended by diplomats, including observers from the European Union ex-head of the European Parliament Pat Cox and former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski.
The leader of the Party of Regions faction hopes that the Parliament will perform all tasks of the President, and the culture of mutual relations between the branches of government will improve and will have a positive effect on the image of the state.
