Violation of labor legislation is recorded in 8 cases out of 10 during relevant inspections of entrepreneurs, the Incomes and Fees Ministry press office informs.
 
According to the report, entrepreneurs either operate without state registration, or pay their workers unreported wages. Since the beginning of the year, nearly 218 million UAH of personal income tax and penalties have been additionally paid to budget for violations. 

 Over 49 thousand people, who had been working illegally, i.e. without labor agreements and without paying tax to the budget, were identified. Violators paid 9 million UAH of tax.
 
In addition, more than 20 thousand people, who worked without permits, officially registered and paid to the budget 5 million UAH of tax.
 
According to the Ministry, raising awareness with business managers resulted in 685.9 million UAH of repaid debts on wages.

In the first year-half, more than 37 thousand employers raised wages to workers at least up to the minimum subsistence level. As a result, the budget received additional 59.4 million UAH of tax on personal income.
 
In general, according to statistics by the Incomes and Fees Ministry, in the first half of 2013 the budget received 33.9 billion UAH of tax on personal income, exceeding index of the corresponding period last year by more than 6%.
