NBU ready to produce documents, forms

The National Bank of Ukraine is ready to fulfill state orders for the production of documents and forms with any special security features, governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Ihor Sorkin stated, the official website of the NBU reports.

"Since the enterprises of the National Bank of Ukraine have all the necessary equipment, are equipped with advanced technology, and have extensive experience in the organization of production of printed matter, which should have special features and a high degree of protection against fraud, we state with certainty our willingness to carry out government orders for production of documents and forms with any security features," he said.

In addition, Sorkin noted that the adoption of the Law will also contribute to the production of documents in a complete cycle of production. "The purpose of the enactment is to ensure state control over the production, pricing and circulation of the documents of strict accountability, which will greatly reduce the cost and increase revenues to the state budget," the NBU governor added.

On July 4, 2013, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law of Ukraine on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the return of state control and production of documents and forms, requiring the use of special security features, with the state-owned enterprises.
