The Party of Regions supports the holding of elections in the troubled constituencies in December, head of the Party of Regions Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing in the Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We believe that the elections in seven constituencies should be carried out in December, we have expressed our views to the opposition representatives, and we were ready yesterday to vote for this bill. But our colleagues from the opposition asked us to remove this bill from consideration. It was not a normal situation, because the adoption of this bill is one of the EU requirements," he said.
Yefremov also noted that he would like this bill to be adopted before the end of the session.
