The State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Ukraine is concerned about the growth of enteroviral infections in the Russian Federation.
"We are concerned about increase in incidence of enteroviral infections in the neighboring country. It is an infection of the intestinal group, but one of the main symptoms of such an infection, one of the trends of the disease is serous meningitis. That is, disease of the central nervous system," deputy chairman of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Kravchuk told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
In Ukraine, according to Kravchuk, isolated cases of enteroviral infection were registered as of today.
