Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov considers unacceptable increase in public utilities tariffs for population.
"Enthusiasts for tariff increase will be stopped," he said, opening the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the head of the government, local governments are endowed with such powers.
"They should vigorously defend the interests of citizens. If there is a lack of local forces, address the government, and we will take the right decision," Azarov promised.
