The second session of the Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation will close on July 5.

A total of 239 MPs out of the 324 registered in the Parliament’s session hall voted for a respective resolution introducing amendments to the schedule of the second session on Friday, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

In accordance with the amendments, the Parliament will have a week of plenary meetings from July 1 to July 5.

On July 1, there will be a meeting of the conciliatory council of the leaders of parliamentary factions and committees. Parliament meetings will take place from July 2 to July 5, and the closure of the second session of the Verkhovna Rada will be announced on July 5.

In addition, MPs are planning to work in committees, commissions and fractions from July 8 to July 12.

Earlier, it was planned that the second session of the Ukrainian parliament would close on July 19.
