The citizens of the countries that are members in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) may be required an invitation to enter the Russian Federation (RF), director of the RF Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky told a press conference in Moscow on Wednesday.
“In my view, the visa system is not so topical today. The matter of entry upon invitations may be discussed,” he said, RIA Novosti News Agency of Russia reports.
Romodanovsky noted, however, that this is a complicated matter that requires additional work.
