FM: Talks on Black Sea Fleet rearmament stay in the early stages

The negotiations on rearmament and modernization of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation are in the early stages, FM spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reported.

"I would like to focus on the fact that the settlement of certain issues regarding the procedures for the movement of goods for the needs of the Black Sea Fleet through the customs border of Ukraine is being considered by the responsible ministries and departments of Ukraine. As for the prospects of rearmament and modernization of the fleet, this issue stays only in the early stages of discussion, and it is early to talk about any specific agreements now," he said.
