On Monday, February 4, finance minister of Ukraine Yuri Kolobov met with the representatives of delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development headed by President of the EBRD Suma Chakrabarti.
The meeting was dedicated to the discussion of results of the EBRD activities in Ukraine in 2012 and to the prospects for further cooperation, as well as macroeconomic and fiscal situation in Ukraine.
The finance minister noted the priority of cooperation with the EBRD and stressed that Ukraine is interested in continuing the fruitful cooperation with the bank.
Kolobov noted that the fiscal policy in 2013 will focus on the improvement of business climate, support for economic sectors, attraction of investments and stable economic growth.
In turn, Chakrabarti stressed that the cooperation with Ukraine will remain one of the top priorities of the bank in 2013 and also confirmed the bank's readiness to take part in the development of actions for further improvement of the business climate in Ukraine.
