Ukraine's vice Prime Minister Yuri Boiko and European Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht discussed the revision of Ukraine's tariff commitments within the World Trade Organization (WTO)on Wednesday in Brussels, the Cabinet’s press service informs, Ukrinform reports.

Boiko and De Gucht focused on topical issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, in particular the application by Ukraine of safeguard measures on import cars and the introduction of a utilization fee.

The heads of the two delegations expressed satisfaction with the technical preparations for the signing of the Association Agreement in terms of a free trade area.

Also, the sides confirmed their willingness to launch an informal dialogue on business environment. Boiko also informed the EU side on the progress in implementing social and economic reforms in Ukraine, and also outlined the priorities of the new government for 2013
