The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has extended the moratorium on sale of agricultural land until January 1, 2016.
As ForUm correspondent reports, 269 MPs have voted in favor of the bill on amendments to the Land Code of Ukraine concerning the turnover of agricultural land.
The Parliament’s speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn said that the document comprises the norm on banning sale of agricultural land until January 1, 2016. The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to work out a bill on sale of agricultural land and submit it to the Parliament.
