About 300 Ukrainians expressed their desire to leave the Gaza Strip in case of the military operation, director of the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Oleh Voloshyn told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"About 300 Ukrainians expressed their desire to leave the conflict territory in case of the military operation. But this does not mean that they stand in line waiting for the evacuation near the Embassy. But the military operation may not begin," Voloshyn said.
Meanwhile, he reminded that Ukrainians did not want to evacuate during the emergency situation in Libya and Syria.
However, Voloshyn noted that there were no acts of violence against the Ukrainians even by the radical Hamas units. According to him, the fact that most evacuees were women helped in this situation. And the attitude to Ukrainian women is positive there.
