Management of the Football Federation of Ukraine continues searching candidates for the post of head coach of the national team, head of the Federation Anatoly Konkov informed.
According to him, the FFU had a frank and constructive conversation with Andriy Shevchenko. "We are sympathetic to the fact that Andriy is not ready to become a head coach. But the Federation does not exclude other forms of cooperation with Shevchenko," Konkov said.
"At the same time the FFU management is still searching candidates for the post of head coach of the national team. Tomorrow the management will hold the meeting to discuss strategic issues related to the situation. The final decision will be taken by the executive committee of the FFU," he said.
Federation President also expressed his confidence the best decision for the team will be taken.
