President Viktor Yanukovych hopes that Poland will continue to support Ukraine in the European integration, he said in his congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski on the national holiday - Independence Day, the press service of the Ukrainian President reported.
"We appreciate the active development of the Ukrainian-Polish strategic partnership, which can be an example of successful cooperation between two European nations. Poland is our devoted friend and advocate of the European integration of Ukraine," the message said.
Yanukovych is confident that together "we can make significant progress in Ukraine's rapprochement with the EU."
The President of Ukraine wished the Polish colleague health and new achievements in his responsible state activity and peace, harmony and prosperity to the friendly Polish people.
