The decree text of the Verkhovna Rada on the repeat parliamentary elections in five single-member districts has been published in today's edition of the parliamentary newspaper "Voice of Ukraine".
"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine resolves to recommend the Central Election Commission to appoint in accordance with the second part of article 104 of the law of Ukraine "On the parliamentary elections" the repeat elections in single-member constituencies № 94, 132, 194, 197 and 223 and to ensure their holding in compliance with mentioned law," the document says.
The Cabinet of Ministers should take the urgent measures to ensure the financing of elections according to established procedure.
The draft resolution was introduced by MP from the Party of Regions Oleksandr Kozub.
