The deputies of Kyiv City Council supported the employment program for Kyiv citizens for 2012-2014, developed by the Directorate of Labour and Social Protection, the KCSA press service informs.
The relevant department noted that the implementation of the previous long-term employment program for 2009-2012 took place in the aftermath of the financial and economic crisis. Therefore, the development of the new program takes into account the processes in the Kyiv labor market in recent years.
The program should result in the annual creation of at least 60 thousand new jobs, optimization of the structure of employment to meet the needs of the economy and regulate unemployment.
The implementation of program activities will improve the quality of labor by strengthening the role of employers in the implementation of professional training in the workplace. The program is to provide positive changes in employment, increase economic activity and strengthen social protection against unemployment.
