On October 8, the draft law of Ukraine on amendments to the law of Ukraine on the state budget of Ukraine 2012 was approved at the Cabinet’s meeting, the Finance Ministry press service informs.
The draft law, in particular, provides for additional funding in 2012 of the National Academy of Sciences on the budget program "Basic research, applied research and technological development, works on state target programs and government contracts, scientific training, financial support for the development of research infrastructure and research facilities are national property" for salaries of employees of research institutions and organizations in the amount of 50815.8 thousand UAH.
The bill will provide for the payment of salaries to employees of research institutions and organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, will strengthen the social protection of citizens and the welfare of the population.
